Since 2023, Matthieu Cosse's arrival at Clos de Caille has been part of a fundamental process, centred on a new approach to the management of the Group's activities. an in-depth understanding of the terroir. Numerous soil trenches have enabled us to gain a better understanding of the complexity of the soils, which are a mixture of silica and ancient limestone, and are marked by wide temperature variations.
This fieldwork is now guiding the gradual evolution of the vineyard, The aim is to give full support to the development of the vineyard. The aim is to fully support the location's potential, We'll be giving more space to whites and reds, while continuing to focus on rosés.
This same requirement is reflected in low-intervention winemaking and precision winemaking techniques, to enhance freshness and complexity. The search for optimum maturity, combined with fine management of the ageing process, enables us to produce full-bodied, fresh wines with a deep sense of identity, faithful to the expression of their terroir.

CLOS DE CAILLE CONTINUES TO EXPAND BETWEEN PROVENCE AND THE SOUTH-WEST
The Mariotti family is embarking on an ambitious new phase in its development with the acquisition of Domaine de Bonaguil, in the Lot region, alongside Matthieu Cosse. This potential vineyard, now in the midst of a renaissance, is run organically and inspired by biodynamic viticulture, with the ambition of revealing singular terroirs through a parcel-by-parcel approach and low-intervention winemaking, continuing the process begun at Clos de Caille.
In the cellar, a new dynamic is also taking shape: more precise work by plot, experimentation with whole bunches to gain in freshness and complexity, and light oak ageing and white toast to preserve the balance and tension of the wines.
This dual location between Provence and the South-West reflects a coherent and committed vision of the winegrowing spirit: to make precise, lively wines with a deep sense of identity, fully exploiting the expression of each terroir.
