Destined to produce great wines, the Clos de Caille terroir has been the subject of in-depth soil studies, carried out to map its full richness and uniqueness. This research has confirmed the presence of a unique geological profile, offering the ideal conditions for producing wines of remarkable precision.
Situated close to the Mediterranean, the estate benefits from a generous, temperate climate, enhanced by its location at an altitude of 200 metres. This privileged location fosters significant daily temperature variations, which are essential for balanced ripening, the freshness of the wines and the aromatic expression of the fruit.
The landscape of the Clos de Caille is characterised by gently sloping, even hills, which allow for the natural cultivation of the vineyard on the hillsides. As well as lending the estate an air of elegance, these contours provide the vines with optimal exposure to the sun and ensure natural drainage of rainwater.
Each vineyard plot thus reveals a unique combination of soil, climate and terrain, giving rise to Provence wines characterised by finesse, depth and distinct character.
