The commitment, passion and high standards of the Mariotti family enable Clos de Caille to produce wines that are now recognised as among the finest in Provence.
Nestled between hills and valleys, in the heart of unspoilt countryside, the Clos de Caille benefits from the diversity of its soils and the uniqueness of its microclimates. Located at an altitude of 200 metres, the vineyard benefits from a natural coolness and temperature ranges marked – sometimes more than twenty degrees between day and night – which allow the grapes to flourish fully and develop their full aromatic potential.
Convinced that the quality of the vine is the cornerstone of any great wine, the Mariotti family and their artisan winemakers are committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture.
Mathieu Mariotti, surrounded by his siblings, runs the family estate with technical support from Matthew Cosse. Driven by the same passion as his father, he strives for excellence and leads the Clos de Caille towards ever more ambitious heights of quality.
This commitment culminates in the first Tête de Cuvée in White: Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023. Officially launched in early 2025, this wine has had time to develop and refine itself. ‘Lucis’ is a Haute Couture cuvée, expressing timeless elegance and great finesse, shaped by the light of Provence.
This white wine, reflecting the quintessence of the Clos de Caille terroir, pays tribute to Lucia, Jean-Pierre's mother, a radiant woman who embodied this light – « Lucis » in Latin – essential to life.
Crafted with ancestral expertise at the «Chai d'Œuvre» winery, Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023 celebrates the light that accompanies the vines throughout their growing cycle.

THE 2025 GRAPE HARVEST
At Clos de Caille, wine does not begin in the bottle: it begins with the men and women who cultivate our vineyards with passion and dedication.
From late August to 21 September, our teams travelled across our sun-drenched hillsides, guided by the serenity and energy that characterise every grape harvest.
The perfectly ripe grapes promise exceptional prospects for our vintages. Although less generous in volume, this harvest stands out above all for its remarkable quality, reflecting the terroir and the hard work of our teams.
In every bottle of Clos de Caille, you will find a fragment of our history: our teams, our passion and our terroir.
