FROM THE VINEYARD TO THE WINE CELLAR: WE ARE REINVENTING THE TRADITIONAL CODES OF PROVENCE

The story of our wines, whether white, rosé or red, begins with meticulous attention to our vines. Our in-depth knowledge of the unique characteristics of our terroir and the selection of our plants, carried out through mass selection, enable us to extract the very best that nature has to offer.

The Clos de Caille is undertaking its work with a «Grands Crus» approach.», by practising parcel selection Meticulous and hand-picked at optimal ripeness for each variety in order to craft our wines around the freshness of the fruit.

VINIFICATION: THE METAMORPHOSIS OF THE FRUIT

Our «Chai d'œuvre» by Rudy Ricciotti was designed to harvest the grapes according to a gravity process to preserve integrity avoiding any mechanical action that would cause it to be crushed, in order to best reveal the subtlety of their expression.

We place great importance on cold pre-fermentation maceration and slow fermentation in order to reveal the finesse and aromatic depth of each grape variety.

FARMING: IN PRAISE OF TIME

Our wines are mainly aged in oak barrels that we carefully select to match the specific characteristics of each grape variety. Carefully managed, ageing gives our wines structure, volume and silky tannins, shaping their personality.

OUR ASSEMBLY: INNOVATION

Each cuvée is the result of a precise blend to offer you expressive wines vinified by distinguished oenologist Matthieu Cosse in a constant pursuit of finesse and balance.

 

«In architecture designed by Rudy Ricciotti, Clos de Caille vinifies its vintages using wine-making equipment and expertise that combines technology and tradition in a wine cellar that we have carefully located in the centre of the vineyard to limit the time spent transporting the grapes.»

 

Discover Clos de Caille Rosé, a complex wine with a sparkling, luminous pale pink colour. True to the estate's free spirit, our 2023 vintage is a wine of great finesse, elegance and resolute originality.
