Each vintage of Clos de Caille embodies the expression of a exceptional terroir and the signature of a committed winemaker. In the heart of Provence, our wine estate reveals three great expressions — rosé, white and red — thoughts as many as unique interpretations of our terroir.

Reflecting our identity, our wines are produced from individual plots before being carefully blended under the expert guidance of oenologist Matthieu Cosse.

Winter is here. Seasonal cuisine calls for wines with character, capable of complementing the textures, aromatic profiles and depth of seasonal dishes. At Clos de Caille, each wine is crafted in the noble sense of the word: precise, balanced and faithful to its terroir.

Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023 – Gastronomic white wine
Rolle 100% aged in 5-hectolitre French oak barrels (light toasting)

After careful sorting and harvesting in small crates, the whole grapes are gently pressed by gravity to obtain clear, pure juices. Lightly cold-settled, the juices are then transferred to new barrels, one and two wines old, selected from trusted coopers. Eight months of ageing, punctuated by regular bâtonnage, gives the wine roundness, precision and complexity.

A structured, luminous white wine, ideal with fine fish, shellfish, poultry in sauce, risottos and mature cheeses.

Clos de Caille Red 2021 – A red with character
90% Syrah (25 years old) | 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Approximately 40% of the blend is aged in lightly toasted French oak: Syrah in 500-litre demi-muids for 12 months, Cabernet Sauvignon in 225-litre barrels for 15 months.
Bottled in April 2023, the wine was then left to rest for 18 months to gain roundness while preserving its brightness. The result of three years of work, the estate's 2021 vintage marks its very first red wine, a major milestone in its history.

An elegant, well-balanced wine, perfectly suited to roast meats, slow-cooked dishes and revisited regional cuisine.

With bottling set to begin in a few days, Clos de Caille is entering a pivotal moment, where precision in every action is already preparing for the future and where each intervention is part of the vineyard's long-term plan.

The trellising work are undertaken in order to structure the plots and support the vines in their future development. At the same time, until March, the estate continues its winter maintenance: clearing brush, improving paths and headlands, rebuilding walls and low walls, all of which are essential for the consistency and sustainability of the vineyard.

This period also marks the claim of our PDOs and PGIs, affirming the origin, quality and identity of Clos de Caille wines, in keeping with our terroir and our commitment.
