After an international career in commodities trading, Mathieu Mariotti joined the Monegasque family property group as finance director. At the same time, in 2021, alongside his siblings, he took over the management of Clos de Caille, where he grew up, a year which also marked the release of the first vintage produced entirely by the estate.
It all starts with a hunch. A conviction.
When Jean-Pierre and Simona Mariotti bought Clos de Caille in 1992, they sensed that Provence winegrowing was entering a new era. Expectations were evolving, views of rosé were changing, and a new language of wine was emerging, in all three colours. Within the family, one ambition is taking shape: to reveal the unique potential of this micro-terroir and offer wines of character, eminent and singular. Wines that combine rigour, depth and elegance, and that sincerely express the identity of Clos de Caille.

Last Wednesday we held our press lunch, bringing together journalists, influencers and buyers in the sumptuous setting of Ducasse Baccarat, in the heart of the capital, a restaurant «most beautiful restaurant in the world» by the Versailles 2025 Prize, a global architecture and design award.
On this occasion, Mathieu Mariotti had the pleasure of introducing our new vintage, with a particular focus on our whites and reds, entirely crafted and vinified by Matthieu Cosse, sublimated by food and wine pairings in this gastronomic restaurant.
This event once again confirms the estate's growing reputation for quality, underpinned by a strong commitment to oenology and a marked evolution in the expression of the wines.
Our rosés and whites are already ready to be enjoyed, while we await the 2024 reds, available in a few weeks' time.
