In the heart of a peaceful haven of 160 hectares, including 40 hectares of vines certified Organic Farming, The vines express a rare balance between technical requirement and artisan sensitivity.
Nothing is left to chance: from the structure of the soil to the tension of the grapes, every detail is thought through, observed and adjusted.
The clay-limestone soils offer a subtle mineral base, while the south and south-east facing allow the grapes to ripen slowly, developing a controlled aromatic complexity.

The Clos de Caille in the spotlight in Terre de Vins
In its March issue, Land of Wines highlights the vision of oenologist Matthieu Cosse at Clos de Caille. The aim is to produce highly expressive whites that accurately reflect the identity of the terroir. On the estate's old, silica-rich limestone, the rolle grape strikes a natural balance between maturity and freshness, giving rise to elegant, mineral wines.
The magazine also highlights the precision of the work carried out in the cellar, with delicate pressing and measured ageing that bring complexity and depth without masking the expression of the fruit. This approach is reflected in Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’2024, a full-bodied, salty gastronomic white with notes of white flowers and citrus fruit.
