First days of harvesting at Clos de Caille
THE HARVEST AT CLOS DE CAILLE, A RITUAL IN THE HEART OF PROVENCE
The grape harvest season is approaching at Clos de Caille — that unchanging moment when nature's generosity meets the precision of our master winemakers, giving rise to an exceptional vintage.
Each cluster harvested embodies a year of patience and attention, guided by the passion of the Mariotti family and our team.
Nourished by a mild, rainy spring followed by a dry, sunny summer, our vines are approaching a ideal maturity, offering a glimpse of the most beautiful promises of the 2025 vintage.

Under the technical direction of Matthieu Cosse, our teams will work in shifts, from dawn to dusk, to harvest the fruits of our labour. 160 hectares, including 40 hectares of vineyards.
- Harvesting at night preserves the freshness and purity of the aromas, in an atmosphere where the glow of headlamps illuminates the rows like stars in the vineyard.
- Manual harvesting at dawn extends this meticulous work, giving the grapes the artisanal attention that is the hallmark of our Clos de Caille vintages.
Since mid-August, our teams have been taking samples to measure ripeness and accurately determine the start date for the harvest.
A LIVING TERROIR, SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
In the heart of Provence Verte, the Clos de Caille thrives in a privileged location: a plateau situated at 200 metres above sea level, bathed in Mediterranean light and marked by significant temperature variations between day and night. These favourable conditions encourage the slow ripening of the grapes and reveal the full aromatic richness of our grape varieties — Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle.
Each new vintage combines the expression of a preserved terroir, a contrasting climate and the passion of a family of winemakers.

Throughout the summer season, our communication campaign was displayed on the rear of buses in Monaco, ensuring Clos de Caille enjoyed prime visibility in the heart of the Principality. This presence is part of a promotional strategy launched in the spring with iconic events such as the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters and the Monaco Grand Prix.
