TASTING NOTES

A pale rosé with a fine and complex nose, where notes of white fruits and citrus come together. The palate is round and harmonious, with a delicate and balanced texture. The finish is expressive, featuring ripe fruit while maintaining a lovely aromatic freshness that lingers on the finish.

Clos de Caille Rosé au Domaine en Provence

FOOD PAIRINGS

Perfect to pair with a scallop carpaccio with lemon caviar pearls, a Provençal vegetable tian with fresh herbs and goat cheese shards, or a delicate white peach tart with vanilla almond cream and pistachio bits.

TERROIR

Old, high-quality limestone, alternating with silica, loams, and clays, offering an ideal terroir for wine expression while preserving its balance and aromatic freshness.

CLIMATE

Mediterranean climate with significant temperature variations between day and night (often around twenty degrees).

BLENDING

Grenache 70% | Cinsault 20% | Syrah 10%

VINIFICATION & AGING

Hand-picked grapes, whole-cluster pressing, light settling, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is racked and aged on fine lees until bottling.

Our viticultural approach, both respectful of centuries-old traditions and attentive to innovation, allows us to craft timeless wines of haute gastronomy. Whether red, rosé, or white, our wines embody the richness of their terroir and the nobility of the work of our master winemakers.

Presentation of our 2024 vintage

It was at Origines, gastronomic restaurant where Julien Boscus elevates seasonal cuisine and local terroir, that we had the pleasure of unveiling our 2024 vintage. For the occasion, the chef created a five-course food and wine pairing, combining beautiful ingredients with high-level technique. He handles excellence with precision and mastery, offering an experience where our wines meet in perfect harmony.

In the presence of Mathieu Mariotti, the professional press, buyers, and influencers had the opportunity to discover our latest vintage, as well as our first white Tête de Cuvée, Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023. Fruitful discussion, marked by the enthusiasm of the guests, some of whom have followed us since the very first vintage and rightly praised the quality rise-up of the Domain.

We wanted to share this special moment with you, thank Sophie Morgaut and her team, as well as all of our guests for this special time.
