Le Clos de Caille works with massal selection in collaboration with internationally renowned vine grower Lilian Bérillon.
With controlled productivity, each vine produces a limited quantity of grapes, prioritizing the quality of the plant—this is the cornerstone of our parcel-based approach at the Estate.
To rejuvenate our soils, we observe a rest period of two to three years between uprooting and replanting.
Aware that nature provides us with the most beautiful masterpiece, we dedicate our expertise to enhancing its splendor.
From its very first vintage, the estate has chosen to work with massal selection.
Initiated by trailblazer Lilian Bérillon, a renowned vine grower, this process emphasizes the genetic diversity of grape varieties by selecting those best suited to the specific characteristics of our terroir and the evolving climate.
The result? Vines that are more resilient, more authentic, and that ensure exceptional taste quality with every vintage.
