Nestled between rolling hills and sheltered valleys, at the heart of a preserved natural landscape, Clos de Caille thrives on the diversity of its soils and the singularity of its microclimates. At 200 meters above sea level, the vineyard enjoys natural freshness and remarkable diurnal temperature variations — often more than twenty degrees between day and night — allowing the grapes to fully mature and reveal their aromatic potential.

Convinced that plant quality is the cornerstone of every great wine, the Mariotti Family and their team of dedicated winegrowers are committed to a sustainable, environmentally respectful viticulture.

Today, Mathieu Mariotti, alongside his siblings, leads the family estate with the technical expertise of Matthieu Cosse. Driven by the same passion as his father, he aims for nothing less than Excellence, propelling Clos de Caille to ever-greater heights of quality.

This commitment finds its expression in the very first White Flagship Cuvée: Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023. Officially launched in early 2025, this wine has been patiently shaped and refined. ‘Lucis’ reveals itself as a Haute Couture cuvée — a timeless expression of elegance and finesse, sculpted by the light of Provence.

This white wine, a true reflection of the quintessence of the Clos de Caille terroir, pays tribute to Lucia, mother of Jean-Pierre — a radiant woman who embodied that light — “Lucis” in Latin — so essential to life.

Crafted with ancestral savoir-faire in our “Chai d’Œuvre”, Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023 celebrates the light that nurtures our vines throughout their entire growing cycle.

At Clos de Caille, wine does not begin in the bottle: it begins with the men and women who cultivate our vineyards with passion and dedication.

From late August to September 21, our teams walked the sun-drenched slopes, guided by the serenity and energy that characterize each harvest season.

The grapes, harvested at their ideal maturity, promise exceptional potential for our cuvées. Although this vintage is less generous in volume, it stands out above all for its remarkable quality, reflecting both the terroir and the meticulous work of our teams.

In every bottle of Clos de Caille, you will find a fragment of our story: our people, our passion, and our terroir.
