« When Jean-Pierre and Simona purchased a charming Estate nestled among two small hectares of vines in the heart of Provence 30 years ago, could they have imagined that the land itself would resonate so deeply with their journey?

Today, Mathieu Mariotti meticulously and humbly manages the now 30-hectare vineyard, which, as of 2021, no longer sells its entire production to renowned brands. Under the guidance of this passionate young man, committed to excellence—he’s completing the Estate’s organic certification this year—Clos de Caille was born three vintages ago. The Estate is now flourishing, with the expertise of Matthieu Cosse, who brings precision and brilliance to the wines.
The aging process is more refined, less intense, resulting in truly impressive wines.

With 90% Grenache, the 2023 “Clarisse” cuvée already stands out as a gastronomic rosé, while the Clos de Caille blanc, made from 100% Rolle, unfolds elegant bitterness alongside its aromas of lemon and fresh almond. »

At Clos de Caille, our vineyards are nurtured with the utmost care by our dedicated artisan winemakers. The fruit of their labor is transformed into wine through meticulous cultivation practices, all within our state-of-the-art winery, an architectural masterpiece designed by the world-renowned architect Rudy Ricciotti.

Harvest season has arrived: Spotlight on the estate’s grape varieties : Grenache ????

Our estate is well-endowed with old vines (VV) on exceptional terroirs, contributing to our flagship rosé cuvées and a remarkable red cuvée for 2024. Harvested at optimal ripeness, the Grenache brings complexity and finesse to our rosé.

The upcoming red cuvée promises to showcase an elegant expression with the signature sweetness of Grenache.
