Everything has been completely reimagined: from the vineyard restructuring to the construction of a majestic gravity-fed winery designed by Rudy Ricciotti. While the expertise of Matthieu Cosse, a renowned oenologist from Cahors, began shaping the vision of Clos de Caille in 2023, the 2024 vintage is the first to be fully crafted under his Direction.
Thanks to a rigorous approach to the terroir and a firm commitment to excellence, the Estate’s wines take on a new dimension across all three colors.

A strong sign of this growing momentum and coherent regional strategy, the Mariotti Family recently acquired the neighboring Domaine des Bruguières, bringing the Estate to nearly 160 contiguous hectares, including 40 hectares of vineyards.
While maintaining a consistently high standard in rosé production, Clos de Caille aims to assert its legitimacy in reds and whites through distinctive and expressive cuvées.
This commitment is embodied by its brand-new flagship white cuvée, Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023 — a true expression of a domaine renowned for the Excellence of its winemaking approach and deep attachment to its terroir.

Tête de Cuvée – White Wine
Grand Blanc de Provence, Clos de Caille « Lucis » 2023 comes from a parcel-by-parcel vinification and an 8-month aging in new 500-liter French oak barrels. Made from 100% Rolle, this signature wine reflects the craftsmanship and passion of all involved in its creation. The palate is round, dense yet harmonious and balanced, with vibrant aromatic freshness, expressive finesse, and lasting persistence.
Best enjoyed with fresh herb-crusted John Dory fillet, gnocchi with white truffle cream, or rosemary chicken tournedos.
Awards: Gold Medal at Elle à Table and Trophy for Best New Producer.

Lucis 2023 Wins the Trophy for Best New Producer
We are proud to announce that Clos de Caille ‘Lucis’ 2023, our first Tête de Cuvée in White, has been awarded the Trophy for Best New Producer at the ELLE à Table competition.
This distinction, granted through a blind tasting by a jury of experts and editorial members, recognizes the precision and boldness of our approach. Crafted under the guidance of Matthieu Cosse, this cuvée embodies the elegance and distinctive character of our terroir.
ELLE à Table Jury’s Note:
“A fresh summer morning in the garrigue… Bright lemon-yellow robe with golden highlights. The nose combines sharp freshness with citrus aromas and delicate notes of yellow fruits, flowers, and vanilla. The palate is ample and rich, evolving towards a good tension. The finish is mineral and lightly oaky, a sign of perfectly mastered aging. A great gastronomic wine.”
